CLS SOLUTIONS

ZMT is strongly investing into Computational Life Science (CLS). The objective is to release the most effective multiphysics tissue modeling simulation platform (code name Sim4Life) jointly developed with ZMT's research partners and optimized for the evaluation and development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic modalities. iSEG, the most versatile medical image segmentation tool currently available, is the first product out of this research. A series of novel finite-element based solvers for flow, mechanics or convection-diffusion reactions are curently benchmarked and applied in research projects and are scheduled to be released next year. ZMT will provide an effective integration of these solvers and tissue modeling into a unique and fast coupling framework Sim4Life.

VP The virtual population project (VP) has the objective to provide the most advanced human models sufficiently representing the anatomical ranges of the human population to allow determination of the coverage factor in evaluations. Various models have been made available by the IT'IS Foundation in surface meshes. EM Solver Static, low frequency and high frequency electromagnetic (EM) top-of-its-class solvers have been developed by our partner company (SPEAG) for technical applications. SEMCAD X became the preferred tool for many applictions including EMF interaction with implants, MR RF coil design, etc. Currently we are enhancing these advanced solvers for integration in our Sim4Life platform.
