ITIS receives NIH Award for o2S2PARC project

NIH Awards IT’IS Foundation USD10 Mio to Lift Neurosimulations to the Next Level

Congratulations to our Z43 partner organization IT’IS for receiving a 5-year award for the project o2S2PARC – Open Online Simulations for Stimulating Peripheral Activity to Relieve Conditions. The project is funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) through the Common Fund’s (SPARC) program to establish a Modeling and Simulation (SIM-) Core within the SPARC Data and Resource Center.

IT’IS together with ZMT, and in close collaboration with different laboratories and partners, has changed computational life sciences by pushing the technological boundaries with its simulation technology. ZMT and IT’IS will work together to realize the SIM-CORE using and expanding Sim4Life technologies to achieve the next level in Neurosimulations.

A detailed description of the project can be found here and on the NIH RePORTER webpage.

We look forward to collaborating in this exciting endeavour!
